Before sugaring

To ensure the best results, please avoid using body creams or oils prior to your appointment, as they may prevent the sugar paste from adhering properly to the skin. Make sure your hair is long enough for effective removal. Additionally, refrain from exfoliating on the day of your treatment and avoid sun exposure beforehand to protect your skin.

Warm sugaring

Warm sugar paste is applied with a spatula at a comfortable temperature of approximately 40°C. This technique eliminates the need for strips or reapplication, making it an efficient and gentle hair removal method. It is particularly recommended for finer hairs, such as those on women, or for areas with softer skin, where hair follicles lie more parallel to the skin’s surface—like the face or intimate areas.

The warmth of the sugar paste helps to relax the pores, allowing for a more effective and less painful hair removal experience.

Cold sugar paste is applied by hand at a temperature of approximately 30°C and requires the expertise of a highly skilled therapist. This method is ideal for removing stronger hair, making it particularly popular among men, as well as women with coarser hair in areas such as the legs.

The cold sugar paste is expertly worked around the hair and removed using a specialized technique called flipping. This approach is highly effective at removing shorter, stronger hair compared to warm sugaring, ensuring smooth and lasting results.

At The Amazon, we prioritize achieving perfectly smooth skin with every hair removal treatment. However, in rare cases, certain types of hair may remain ingrown beneath the surface and not be visible on the day of your appointment. These hairs often emerge shortly after the treatment.

To ensure your satisfaction, we offer a touch-up within seven days of your appointment to remove any remaining hairs and leave your skin flawlessly smooth.

This also includes the shaft, scrotum, gluteal cleft, and the area around the anal opening. A small patch of hair, known as a landing strip, is left above the shaft for a groomed yet natural look.

Hair length

For optimal results, the recommended hair length is approximately 4 mm, though this may vary depending on the body part. If you’ve been shaving, it’s important to allow 10 to 14 days of hair growth before your first hair removal session to ensure the process is effective.

After sugaring

To keep your skin smooth and irritation-free, avoid body creams, oils, swimming pools, saunas, and gyms for the first 24 hours. Shower with lukewarm water and protect your skin from the sun.

From the second day, gently exfoliate during showers if you're prone to ingrown hairs. A loofah or soft cloth works best to maintain smooth, healthy skin.
